+ First of all, rather impressive to do it in one take. I think the piece is at its strongest when you were letting notes ring, then dampening them to focus in on the melody.
- The intro feels a little stiff. The ending is a bit abrupt.

+ The melodies and ambient parts were very pleasant to listen to. I love how the melody progressed throughout the piece. The intro sequence was beautiful, if not a little cliched. I love that you return to the birds to close out the song.
- The sound of the percussion absolutely takes me out of it. The overly effected kick’s sound is especially egregious. Maybe try to make the drums sound less like MIDI and more natural.

+ Pleasant sounding track. It captures the “spooky” essence pretty well.
- It lacks direction. It sounds more like a demo for the sounds used rather than a complete track.

I like that you're experimenting with your style!

I personally really like thick outlines around art like this. I find it really helps emphasize the shape of the characters, and it would really help the clarity of the image if you used it against a complex background.

Making the lines the same hue as the art is interesting. In the past, I've done it more when the line is dividing 2 sections of the same material--so the colour is consistent across it. It's kind of the opposite philosophy from thick outlines--you're making the image more realistic looking by not having black lines, but it makes it a little less clear.

There isn't really a right or wrong way to do style, though--just mess around with it until you're happy with it.

+ Fantastic render! The skin texture and lighting, especially around the hands grabbing her, are just masterful.
- Gotta watch out for the sweat trails tho. Look at the one going up her butt and over her tail.
